Pratama Argadinata tritarwiyani@gmail.com
This brief article aims to define the Malay community's concept of education. The research aims to disclose the education notion that the Malay community possesses. Education is a foundation and tool to ensure that personal values and principles are upheld within the community. This is especially crucial when interacting with others. The literature study research conducted used philosophical hermeneutics as its method, aided by analytical, deductive-inductive, heuristic, and descriptive techniques. Through this research, it was found that Malay society, which identifies with Islam, indirectly makes Islamic values the reference point and the highest value system. Education in Malay society aims to cultivate fortunate individuals. "Favoured man represents an excellent or ideal human being. The realization of the favoured man is the duty of all members of society, especially parents. Tools or vehicles used include literary works, songs, and proverbs. Malay society does indeed focus more on the cultivation of religious values, in this case, religious knowledge." Therefore, in this context, education aims to create character, specifically the character possessed by fortunate individuals. When linked to one of the streams in Philosophy of Education, the concept of education in the Malay community is considered to lean towards behaviourism, where stimuli are critical to the success of education and the creation of an individual's character.
2025-01-28T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Tri Tarwiyani, M. Arabic, as a cornerstone of Islamic education, holds significant value for students in Indonesia, yet its complex grammar, distinct script, and limited real-life application present obstacles for non-native speakers. This research employs a qualitative case study approach, involving interviews, focus groups, and classroom observations with students and teachers to examine linguistic challenges, motivational factors, and institutional support in language learning. Findings reveal that grammar rules and vocabulary acquisition are major challenges for students, compounded by a lack of intrinsic motivation and limited exposure to Arabic outside the classroom. The study identifies traditional teaching methods as a potential barrier to engagement, suggesting that communicative, interactive approaches may enhance learning effectiveness. Extracurricular programs, such as language clubs, along with digital resources and culturally relevant content, are recommended to foster deeper engagement and practical language application. These insights provide valuable recommendations for improving Arabic language acquisition in religious educational settings, with an emphasis on enriching teaching strategies, expanding resource accessibility, and promoting extracurricular involvement
2025-01-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Khairul Basyar, Muhammad Zaed, Fatoni, Sulikah, Maulidia Parasmita Rozi https://proceeding.unrika.ac.id/index.php/ICMS/article/view/59 THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PROBLEM-SOLVING-BASED INFORMATION SERVICES IN IMPROVING THE HIGH ORDER THINKING SKILLS OF ADOLESCENTS AT TANJUNG GUNDAP 2025-01-25T15:57:21+07:00 Dinda Shobiyyah dindashobiyyah11@gmail.com Junierissa Marpaung dindashobiyyah11@gmail.com Ramdani dindashobiyyah11@gmail.com
In entering the 21st century, adolescents need to master various skills known as “The 4C Skills”: critical thinking and problem solving skills, creativity and innovation, communication, and collaboration so that the need to improve HOTS abilities among adolescents. The focus of the study includes the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the program designed to enhance students’ digital literacy skills while emphasizing the local maritime context. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies, and analyzed qualitatively. The results reveal several key weaknesses, including the lack of integration of maritime literacy into the digital curriculum, limited teacher training or workshops on maritime-based digital technology, and suboptimal supporting infrastructure, such as digital devices and internet access. Additionally, the involvement of local stakeholders, including the maritime community, remains minimal in supporting the success of the digitalization program. Recommendations include improving teacher training, providing adequate digital learning infrastructure, and fostering more intensive collaboration with relevant maritime stakeholders to strengthen the local context of digital literacy in the learning process. The study concludes that digital literacy based on maritime literacy will contribute to the development of education policies that are relevant to the needs of maritime regions, enabling students in these areas to better engage with the evolving digital landscape.
2025-01-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Peri Yudianto, Febri Swendi Indra https://proceeding.unrika.ac.id/index.php/ICMS/article/view/68 ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECT OF COMPENSATION, TRAINING, DISCIPLINE, AND WORK ENVIRONMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IN THE KARIMUN REGENCY INVESTMENT AND ONE-DOOR INTEGRATED SERVICE SERVICE 2025-01-25T17:06:33+07:00 Ahmad Arifin arifin@fekon.unrika.ac.id Lydia Elvina Putri arifin@fekon.unrika.ac.id Ramon Zamora arifin@fekon.unrika.ac.id Muharri arifin@fekon.unrika.ac.id
Study This aiming For know influence compensation , training , discipline and environment Work to performance employee of the Investment and Services Office One Stop Integrated Regency Kerinci . Employing a quantitative research approach with a deductive-inductive framework, the study surveyed 300 respondents who visited RSBP Batam more than three times in 2023, selected using Slovin's formula with a 5% margin of error. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using classical assumption tests, multiple regression, and hypothesis testing. Results indicate that all independent variables—customer satisfaction, trust, effective systems, and corporate reputation—positively and significantly impact patient loyalty, both individually and collectively. The F-test reveals a combined influence with F = 148.026 and p < 0.05, while the adjusted R-square value of 0.525 shows that 52.5% of loyalty variation is explained by these variables. The study concludes that improving these factors enhances loyalty, with customer satisfaction and trust emerging as the most influential determinants. Recommendations include prioritizing improvements in weaker aspects of loyalty and exploring additional variables such as service quality, education level, and cost in future research. This study contributes to the literature on healthcare management by offering actionable insights to enhance patient loyalty in competitive healthcare environments.
2025-01-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Junita Elizabeth Sibuea, Edwin Agung Wibowo, Magneta Hisyam https://proceeding.unrika.ac.id/index.php/ICMS/article/view/74 THE INFLUENCE OF DISCIPLINE AND ALLOWANCE GRANTING ON PERFORMANCE OFFICERS ON RANTAUPRAPAT REGIONAL HOSPITAL, LABUHANBATU REGENCY 2025-01-25T17:31:34+07:00 Pitriyani pitriy187@gmail.com Elvina pitriy187@gmail.com Dahrul Aman Harahap pitriy187@gmail.com Rasyid Ridho Harahap pitriy187@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the influence of discipline and provision of performance based allowance employee at Rantauprapat Regional Hospital Regency Labuhanbatu . Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires from 43 students. The results of the analysis showed that technology integration significantly supported learning (mean=3.79), with 65.1% of students reporting positive results. Professional demands (mean=3.53) and case-based learning (mean=3.51) emerged as the main motivating factors. However, students faced challenges in understanding legal terminology and sentence structure (both mean=2.95). Moderate levels of self-confidence were seen in document writing (mean=3.19) and discussion participation (mean=3.14). These findings suggest that while technology and practical approaches enhance learning engagement, basic language skills still require additional support. This study contributes to the understanding of the dynamics of Legal English education in Indonesian universities and provides insights for curriculum development.
2025-01-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Erwin Ashari, Sirintin Pakpahan https://proceeding.unrika.ac.id/index.php/ICMS/article/view/79 EFFECTIVENESS OF TEACHING FACTORY ON LEARNING OUTCOMES 2025-01-30T15:55:17+07:00 Rasyid Ridho Harahap rasyidridhoharahap@gmail.com Dahrul Aman Harahap rasyidridhoharahap@gmail.com Ramses rasyidridhoharahap@gmail.com Erwin Ashari rasyidridhoharahap@gmail.com Asmaul Husna rasyidridhoharahap@gmail.com Fauziah Syamsi rasyidridhoharahap@gmail.com
Teaching Factory (TEFA) is an approach learning innovative that integrates the learning process with the world of work, designed For create ready graduates compete in the global market.
